Distinguish heavy items from bulky ones
Give separate estimates for tiles, rubble, cabinets and packaging. An item can be bulky without being heavy, while broken tiles can be dense in a small space. Ask about the loading limits for the agreed material rather than assuming the whole container can take any mix.
Mention plumbing and electrical items
Identify appliances, fittings with electrical parts and anything that may contain liquid or other material needing separate handling. Ask what is accepted and what needs another route. Keep unconfirmed items separate until the contact has advised on your particular enquiry.
Time the enquiry around the refit
Explain when old fittings will be removed, whether access will change during the work and when the space needs to be clear. Use the Station Rd number with the full project postcode and ask for the quote and collection arrangements to be confirmed.
Your Stechford call checklist
- Tile and rubble quantities
- Dimensions of removed cabinets or fittings
- Appliances and other items needing separate advice
Open the contact-page call checklist to prepare your enquiry. It stays in your browser and does not submit a booking.
